DealDeal.ca is a platform for sharing deals, business promotions, and community posts across Canada. These rules help keep posts accurate, useful, and respectful.
Using this site means you agree to follow these rules.
1. Posting Content
- Share deals, business promotions, recommendations, questions, and community updates relevant to people in Canada.
- For offers, include the business name and important conditions such as location, eligibility, and expiry date.
- For community posts, use a clear title and the correct category and location.
- Link directly to the business or event page when a link is relevant; avoid redirect or shortener links.
- Search before posting to avoid duplicates. Add a comment when a post already covers the topic.
- If you are the business owner, say so clearly and use a business post for promotions.
- Do not use inflated prices to make a discount look bigger than it is.
2. Comments and Votes
- Use comments to add useful information - expiry updates, corrections, or your personal experience.
- Be respectful. Disagree with a post, not with a person.
- Personal attacks, discriminatory insults, or harassment are not allowed.
- Vote honestly - do not vote-farm or organise voting groups.
3. What Is Not Allowed
- Fake, expired, or misleading deals.
- Affiliate or referral links without clear disclosure.
- Spam, repetitive posting, or self-promotion disguised as a deal.
- Offensive, discriminatory, or harmful content.
- Sharing another person's private information.
- Multiple accounts to bypass restrictions or inflate votes.
- Any content that violates Canadian law.
4. Moderation
We review new posts before they go live and may remove, edit, or reject content that does not meet these guidelines.
Accounts that repeatedly break these rules may be suspended or permanently banned.
If you think a post was removed by mistake, contact us.
5. Changes
We may update these guidelines at any time. Continued use of this site means you accept the latest version.
